On air, the feature is referred to almost like a verb (ex; “The Stones are in the Rocklight on this day in 1969, playing a free concert at Altamont Speedway outside of San Francisco…”).
Connect the Classics: McKenzie Rae rolls out a three song theme set every workday at 12:05pm and 1:05pm (ET). Prizes are awarded to the listeners who make the theme request and to the listeners who solve the connection.

Album Birthdays: On the average, we commemorate a milestone album release (20th, 25th, 30th or 40th birthday) a couple of Tuesdays a month. We tell the stories behind the songs, play the hits and depth tracks and hand out CD copies once an hour all day long.
